Nature Discovery Camps - Bio Brilliance!

Bio Brilliance – Summer 2 – 9-13 yrs: Campers will explore the brilliance of biological intelligence, learning how many of our man-made systems have been inspired by nature, what’s known as Biomimicry! Special inventions like bird-proof glass, airplanes, and even carbon-sequestering cement, are all backed by biological strategies! From observing wildlife behavior, nature’s design and considering human impact campers will leave with a greater appreciation for the natural world. Registration Coming Soon! About Nature Discovery Camps: Our four day, half-day camps welcome children to an outdoor learning environment, where they will uncover the mysteries of the natural world through science, art, awe, and the practice of noticing. Each camp has it’s own special theme, opening different lenses to explore through. Summer 1 session begin in June, with Summer 2 session in July. Our Camps at a Glance: 8:15am – 8:45am – Camper Drop Off and morning free-play 8:45am – 9:00am – Campers break into camps 9:00am – 10:00am – Intro Activity and Trail Walk 10:00am – 10:30am – Snack Break 10:30am – 11:30am – Activity and daily exploration continued followed by clean up 11:30am – 12:00pm – Camper Pick up and free play (Last call 12:00pm pick-up)
